This PR only has a couple of line deletions, and it looks like you're also committing to the main branch :-)

The idea is that you check out a branch and commit to it for the week, then merge at the end of the week. That makes the diff for the branch contain all of your updates/ changes.

Apologies that this is confusing - it's such an integral part of my workflow for like a decade, I don't remember what parts are obscure
